Good to see you back here! Looking forward to more posts. I've also been quiet for many months due to travel, and illness... Just clawing my way out of a second bout of covid in 4 months. The past almost 2 years... I found the Ex 2x2 page in March 23.... have been kind of surreal. During this time I have moved from regarding the group as kind of weird sect that I knew had done me a lot of damage to understanding it as a full-on cult that has done so much damage to so many people for so long. And that's been kind of mind-blowing.
Hey Renee! Surreal is a great way to describe it. Even over a lifetime - weird sect has definitely come out of my mouth too!! And a long time ago I was sure the damage was only felt by me, and that maybe, that was my own fault for being weak, yada yada. Mind blowing to understand it’s not only me, and to also have “confirmation” it was damage. Huge hugs back. It’s nice (and not nice, you know what I mean, I think) to have others to share in all of it.
